Idealliance – Your Print Partner

Idealliance South Asia

From 1st June 2018 , Idealliance and Pressman have formed a partnership to advance Idealliance Specifications across south Asian regions which includes India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh , Nepal , Maldives etc., and to serve as the agent for Idealliance programs in that region. In terms of this Alliance, Pressman will serve as the exclusive partner in the region. Pressman will represent ALL Idealliance activities in South Asia including G7, SWOP®, GRACoL®, DISC™, Virtual Proofing Taskforce and the Print Predictability activities of the Print Properties Working Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Pressman will pre-qualify all new applicants from the region, and will verify G7 Masters (Printers and Proof Providers) status to those who have been qualified by G7 Experts. In addition to serving as the agency to designate G7 Masters in South Asian region , Pressman establishes a membership program for Idealliance in South Asia.

G7

G7 can be applied to any printing process including commercial printing, newsprint, flexo digital printing (inkjet, electrophotographic, LEP), dye sublimation, screen, wide format, industrial inkjet, gravure and offset (web and sheetfed).

G7 Facility Qualification

G7 Master Qualification is granted to a physical facility. G7 Master Status indicates that the facility has calibrated certain equipment and systems to G7 gray balance and neutral tone curves and is capable of delivering G7 proofs and print products.

G7 Certification

A G7 Expert has demonstrated expertise in the field of color management, process and quality control for proofing and printing utilizing the G7 methodology. A G7 Expert is able to analyze color and print related issues and take corrective action to bring systems and processes in control to a set method, standard or specification with repeatable, predictable results.
